MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) – For Office 2003 users

It is possible to achieve various levels of certification, see below for a breakdown of these.

MOS Exam requirements by certification level
Specialist Expert Master
Candidates must pass any one of the following Specialist exams:

  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Access
  • Outlook
Candidates must pass any one of the following Expert exams:

  • Word Expert
  • Excel Expert
Candidates must pass three required exams and one elective exam:

MOS Word (2003)

MOS Word is just one qualification available from the range of Microsoft Business Certifications (MSBC). These are Microsoft’s official certifications to validate computer skills using Microsoft Office desktop applications and Windows Vista and are an industry standard giving a qualification that is recognised throughout the world. It provides proof that an individual has the computing skills in Microsoft Office needed to work more productively and efficiently.

Although we will cover all of the exam topics, the 2-day training programme will not purely be exam focused. We deliver the training from a working perspective thus ensuring that you benefit as much as possible as a user from the training programme whilst also gaining a world-wide recoginsed qualification.

MOS Word is the first level of the MOS Word qualification a more advanced level is also available MOS Word Expert (See below).

MOS Excel (2003)

MOS Excel is just one qualification available from the range of Microsoft Business Certifications (MSBC). These are Microsoft’s official certifications to validate computer skills using Microsoft Office desktop applications and Windows Vista and are an industry standard giving a qualification that is recognised throughout the world. This course is designed for Intermediate users of Microsoft Excel who would like to hold a recognised Microsoft qualification to reflect their expertise. You should have attended training at an Introductory level and be using Excel on a regular basis prior to attending this training programme.

Although we will cover all of the exam topics, the 2-day training programme will not purely be exam focused. We deliver the training from a working perspective thus ensuring that you benefit as much as possible as a user from the training programme whilst also gaining a world-wide recoginsed qualification.

MOS Word Expert (2003)

MOS Word Expert is just one qualification available from the range of Microsoft Business Certifications (MSBC). These are Microsoft’s official certifications to validate computer skills using Microsoft Office desktop applications and Windows Vista and are an industry standard giving a qualification that is recognised throughout the world. It provides proof that an individual has the computing skills in Microsoft Office needed to work more productively and efficiently.

This course is designed for Intermediate / Advanced users of Microsoft Word who would like to hold a recognised qualification to reflect their expertise. You should have attended training to an Intermediate level and be using Microsoft Word on a regular basis prior to attending this training programme.

We will cover in detail all of the Advanced feature of MS Word, including Advanced Formatting options, Mail Merge, working with graphics and charts, utilising the review tools etc. Although it is recommended that you firstly complete the MOS Word Core training and exam prior to attempting the MOS Word Expert, it is not necessary to do so.

We deliver the training from a working perspective thus ensuring that you benefit as much as possible as a user from the training programme whilst also gaining a world-wide recoginsed qualification.

MOS Excel Expert (2003)

MOS Word Expert is just one qualification available from the range of Microsoft Business Certifications (MSBC). It provides proof that an individual has the computing skills in Microsoft Office needed to work more productively and efficiently.

This course is designed for Intermediate / Advanced users of Microsoft Excel who would like to hold a recognised qualification to reflect their expertise. You should have attended training to an Intermediate level and be using Excel on a regular basis prior to attending this training programme.

We will cover in detail all of the Advanced feature of Excel, including Database Features, Advanced Functions such as IF and Lookups along with the automation of tasks using Macros etc. Although it is recommended that you firstly complete the MOS Excel Core training and exam prior to attempting the MOS Excel Expert, it is not necessary to do so.

It provides proof that an individual has the computing skills in Microsoft Office needed to work more productively and efficiently.

This course is suitable for those who have already been using MS Outlook on a regular basis.

We deliver the training from a working perspective thus ensuring that you benefit as much as possible as a user from the training programme whilst also gaining a world-wide recoginsed qualification.
